YOU fashion assistants Peta-Lee Matjaola and Nadia Windt had their say at who was the best and the worst dressed at the BAFTA Awards in London.

THE BEST DRESSED

Cate Blanchett

Cate Blanchett never disappoints. The Carol star led the pack with her full-length gown, complete with a black skirt and beautiful floral lace detail across her chest.

Julianne Moore

Julianne Moore kept it relatively simple with a curve-hugging white dress, flaunting her figure.

Kate Winslet

Simple and elegant, Kate captured the attention of the red carpet in a beautiful black dress.

Emilia Clarke

Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke flaunted her cleavage in a gorgeous full-length crimson gown.

Angela Bassett

Angela Bassett went for a bold look that certainly paid off, as she stepped out in a flowing pink ensemble.

Alicia Vikander

Alicia Vikander stolen the show with her black and gold metallic outfit, showing off her figure and a hint of thigh in the stunning ensemble.

THE WORST DRESSED

Poppy Jamie

Poppy Jamie went for a nude fishtail number by Jitrois Paris, covered in an emerald green flock design. The nude-coloured dress underneath the flock pattern appeared a little low cut, more so on one side than the other.

Rebel Wilson

Wearing a 90s power suit, the How to be Single star’s knee length pencil skirt wasn’t a fashion hit, with the back of the dress continuing to the floor.

Katia Elizarova

Russian model and actress Katia Elizarova wore a rather unflattering green gown which failed to do her slender figure justice. The fussy neckline looked rather awkward while the flimsy material was left swishing in the breeze.

Rooney Mara

The Pan actress choose a washed-out colour on a gown that did not flatter her amazing figure. The shoulder detail looked as sad and drab as she did.
